Acquisition and Life Cyle Management
A crucial dimension to stimulating the supply of high-value innovations lies in the development, awarding, and management of acquisition contracts for both products and services. Ideal Innovations offers hands-on knowledge and experience in both leading and supporting the DoD acquisition process—including the conventional 5000 series and more rushed acquisition programs when facing urgent and relatively well-defined needs. Our focus transcends the immediate supply of relevant hardware and software, however, to include the management of the product’s total life cycle. This includes training, maintenance, logistics support, upgrades, recycling, and disposal. As a result, our specific services include:
- Planning and execution of acquisition programs for military units engaged in active combat missions
- Drafting Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Managing acquisition budgets and schedules
- Managing program review meetings
- Serving as government managers of R&D and product development contracts
- Developing quality assurance programs
- Formulating training plans for both operation and maintanence duties
