Bob Kocher of Ideal Innovations a Finalist for the SmartCEO GovStar Award

Recognized as One of Greater Washington's Top Government Contractors

(I³), a leader in biometric and forensic technology, announced today that CEO Bob Kocher has been named a finalist in the second annual GovStar Awards, a program by SmartCEO magazine and Sheppard Mullin. The GovStar Awards recognize Greater Washington-area businesses and executives who exceed the highest expectations in the complex and competitive sector of government contracting.

Mr. Kocher has made a positive impact on the security of the U.S. with his innovative spirit and takes pride in anticipating and confronting emerging threats and integrating new technologies in law enforcement, biometrics, identity management, information systems, force protection and engineering. A portion of the proceeds were donated to the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that provides assistance to Wounded EOD Warriors and their families in the form of financial relief.

AUSA 2011 Annual Meeting & Exposition, Walter E Washington Convention Center, Oct. 10-12

Biometric Consortium's Annual Conference and Technology Expo, September 27-29, Tampa, Florida

Bob Kocher of Ideal Innovations Named a 2011 Greater Washington GovCon Award Finalist

ARLINGTON, VA, September 23, 2011 – Ideal Innovations, Inc. (I³), a leader in biometric and forensic technology, today announced that CEO and President, Bob Kocher, has been named a finalist for the 9th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards, the premier awards program for the renowned Washington metro government contracting community.

Mr. Kocher is a finalist for the Executive of the Year ($75-300 million) category award, presented to a Greater Washington-area government contracting executive who has made outstanding contributions to the company, the community and the government contracting industry during the past year.
